Yokutkhon Metinova (Yoku) started playing table tennis when she was 14 years old. She went to "Dugoba" table tennis training center in Fergana where she became quickly part of Fergana State team. Here are some of her table tennis highlights from Uzbekistan:

• Third place in Women’s singles at the National Championship of Uzbekistan, 2006.

• Bronze medalist in team representing Fergana state at the National High School Championship of Uzbekistan, 2006.

• Third place in team of Fergana, at the National Championship “Cup of Uzbekistan” in 2008

• Silver medalist in team representing Fergana state at National Championship of Uzbekistan, 2008.

Currently she is back in training and getting back to the form. Her rating on USATT is 1800 at this moment.

Outside of table tennis Yoku enjoys drawing, creating logos, designing website and graphic design. She likes learning new cultures, languages, and enjoys travelling together with her husband Brian.
