Table Tennis Access
project
Story of the project:

In my childhood I always dreamed with my friend in table tennis school that when we grow up, we would be sponsors for our club. I always thought that I will need a lot of money to make it to come true but all it takes to have people that are willing to share with you.
It all started when I thought I would save up my used table tennis rubbers and bring it to my hometown table tennis club when I come to visit. Then I thought I could ask my table tennis friends from US if they have used table tennis equipment that they are not going to use, they could donate. I would bring it to my hometown Fergana table tennis school where it can have a good use to help with growth table tennis as a sport and giving access to a better-quality table tennis experience. Since table tennis rubbers and blades are expensive, it is hard to afford for a lot of families, and giving used decent quality rubbers would help to have a better learning process and growth of the sport.

So this project started since 2016. Since then I have made a few trips and dropped of donations at my hometown Fergana Table tennis school.

Expanding project:
After my last visit in 2021 of dropping of equipment donations I decided that I would like to expand table tennis access project. Now if you live in Minnesota and you have difficulty to afford decent table tennis rubbers you can apply to get one! The project is toward to table tennis players of age 6-15 who live in Minnesota.
If you would like to have free table tennis rubber or blade, write an email with an essay “why do you think you should get help supporting your table tennis? And how having better table tennis paddle can help you? It should be minimum of 250 words. If you will be selected you will be provided with used but decent quality table tennis rubber or/and blade.
I am encouraging if you have table tennis rubbers that you are not planning to use I would take it with me to share with kids in my training school in Fergana, Uzbekistan.

I have been taking my equipment of used table tennis paddles and rubbers to my students and coworkers in Fergana table tennis school. I have been asking my friends from the table tennis clubs if they have equipment that they are not going to use. I offered to take them for the kids in my hometown who can not afford and that would help to get their game ahead. Now this project started since 2016.
